How the Foundation Works
The D’Evelyn Education Foundation (DEF) is a non-profit 501c3 fundraising organization, providing financial support for academic, social and extracurricular programing throughout the school.
Student fees and district dollars only cover so much—your donations to the foundation help fill the gaps to keep our students and teachers overachieving!
Money in:
We host 4 quarterly fundraising events:
Money out:
1. Each year, donations are first used to cover Student Scholarships and Awards and any academic needs that arise, like text books and classroom equipment.
2. Money also partially funds special school events such as After Prom, Junior High Socials, Teacher Appreciation Week, the School Store and more--your volunteer time and additional donations make these events a reality!
3. Athletics, Performing Arts, Activities and other school organizations send requests for specific needs to school administration. Administration thoughtfully prioritizes those requests and proposes allocations of any remaining funds to best meet the students’ needs for the year. The foundation then distributes the funds to meet those needs.
This year your donations can help pay for:
Scholastic Support
Scholarships, text books, teacher development and more!
We love our Students and Teachers!
After Prom, Junior High Socials, 8th Grade Celebrations, Teacher Appreciation Week, etc. …
Extras! Athletics, Performing Arts and Activities
New uniforms for women’s volleyball, practice lanes for swimming, and much more!
